REVIEW: This is one of the few novels that I always come back to read, the character development is one of the best I've come across in genre, the characters are realistic, the relationship is realistic, no unnecessary angst...the female lead's growth through the story is amazing, she starts off in a bubble of sorts where she sort of absorbed in her own world, the bubble burst (pretty quickly) and she goes through one of those periods in life where it feels the world is against you and it just seemed like your life is spiraling downwards...she grows exponentially after this and matures a lot, all the while building an interesting friendship with the male lead...the leads are witty, funny, practical and their conversations are just so interesting...that I keep coming back. Please Read!!

ReplyDeleteI love reading how the relationship between Meng Gu & Chen Ruo Yu grows and gets stronger throughout the novel. They're solid as a couple ~ they weather any misunderstandings or dramas quickly and efficiently due to their love & care for each other. 💖💖
I laughed so much while reading this novel. 💕 Meng Gu & Chen Ruo Yu are a cute & adorable couple. They compliment each other very well.
I know right, their bickering is gold and you really feel the foundation of their relationship build up and become solid! This is my feel good novel, I re-read it at least once a year (think I'm even due for a reread right now >o<)...Very glad you enjoyed this read!

I hate Meng Gu at the beginning because of his personality... but after I read Meng Gu’s POV second Version it’s change all my thoughts about Meng Gu and I Love the way he loves Chen Ruo Yu.
