When Xiao Yang finally arrived at his apartment's door, it was 7 o'clock in the morning. Just as he was about to retrieve his key to open the door, he heard the door of Qiao Yin's apartment opening behind him. He glanced back and happened to see Qiao Yin poking her head out, looking at him with her big eyes curved like crescent moons: "Have you had breakfast?"
Guessing what she was going to do, Xiao Yang put the key he had just retrieved back into his pocket and turned towards her, "No."
"Would you like to eat a bowl of chicken noodles soup and then rest?" she amiably suggested.
Xiao Yang did not refuse.
So five minutes later, he was sat at her dining table, watching her bring a bowl of steaming chicken noodles soup to him. It is a very classic chicken soup with just mushroom and slow-boiled chicken. The soup color was clear and golden, the delicious fragrant smell wafted into his nose as the steam rose.
Qiao Yin did not cook a lot of noodles, however, she had put almost all the chicken in his bowl. She also added some vegetables to balance the nutrients, making a relatively large meal.
Fortunately, Xiao Yang was hungry so he ate it all, not even a drop of soup was left.
Qiao Yin on the other hand, simply drank a bowl of chicken soup to satisfy her greed for food, "Going back to take a bath and rest?"
"Yeah." He responded, putting some of the leftover lettuce into his mouth.
"You're on leave today, right? Do you have any plans?" Qiao Yin asked, swaying her legs.
"Resting" Xiao Yang responded in a simple and clear manner.
"Then, after you rest well, let's watch a movie together, okay?" She asked and began to think about what snacks to eat while watching the movie, "Watch at home, I bought a DVD." She clarified.
"Burned DVD copies?" Xiao Yang asked without raising his head, continuing to eat his lettuce.
Qiao Yin shook her head, "Do I look like someone who buys pirated copies?!"
"Don't look like one." He bluntly denied, and then said, "The tool of the crime is under the TV cabinet. The model is still the old model from five years ago. In addition, there are also pirated DVDs on the shelf. All the evidence proves that you are a habitual offender of buying pirated DVDs."
Seeing that the evidence was solid, Qiao Yin had to smile and ask for leniency: "I haven't bought it since the crackdown on piracy began, truly. My situation can be treated with leniency."
Xiao Yang raised an eyebrow at her. After eating the last bit of lettuce, he calmly put down his chopsticks and thought about it, and then finally replied with the single words: "Approved."
