Qiao Yin was alright but she was still bombarded by her coworkers.
Each of her coworkers took turns worrying about her, even her partners of the law firm, Lu FeiTeng and Chen MinYi were extremely concerned about her.

Everything about Lu FeiTeng is pretty good, it's just that he can be a bit silly. So he firmly believed that if he was not on sick leave, Qiao Yin would not have had to have gone through this incident in his place, thus he was incredibly grateful. Knowing that she loved to eat, he especially brought her the cured fish and meat from his hometown.
Although his overzealousness surprised her, smelling the pan-fried bun, cured fish, and bacon, she could not help but swallow, she would enjoy it very much. He stood at the door wearing an undershirt and shorts, holding his toothbrush and brushing cup. He must have just woken up, he stared at her with his seductive eyes and his expressionless face which still looked a bit tired and said, "I will be ready very soon."
Qiao Ying smiled and she waved her hand as she took out her key, "It's okay, take your time, I also want to rest for while."
In the end, men and women are different - so his speed of getting ready was very quick. Qiao Yin had just placed the fish and bacon into the refrigerator, she had not even had the time to drink water when she heard Xiao Yang knock on her door.
The two of them got into Qiao Yin's car and as she backed out of the parking spot, she asked, "Is there anything you can't eat? Do you like to eat spicy things?"
"Mmm." He simply replied as he fastened his seatbelt. He glanced over at her, "You seem to be more lively now."
"All my coworkers were concerned about me, I don't dare to be not lively." She said with a smile as she drove out of the parking lot. She turned her attention back to the road and added, "To be fair, last time when I went to visit my friend in America, we also experienced something similar. At that time it really scared me to death, I even changed my flight to the next day and flew back. Later, I watched a movie called <Criminal Minds>, in the movie it talked about the rate of violent crime in America, it was really scary. As expected, it's safer here."
Since Xiao Yang works in Criminal investigations, he had some knowledge about the crime rates abroad, thus he calmly stated, "When compared, it's definitely safer here." He said and then paused and suddenly jumped to a different topic, "Do you usually drive at this speed?"

His eyes swept past the written charm 'Safe and sound' hanging in her car and the expression in his eyes changed a little, "It's okay. It's just easier to cause accidents due to people tailgating or trying to overtake the car."
"Really? I only know that people are getting more violent and agitated on the road...sigh, looks like it's safer to take public transit nowadays." She said with a laugh.
Even though it's supposed to be a condemning statement, when it entered Qiao Yin's ears it became something funny. She had always thought Xiao Yang was pure and had little words, she did not expect him to say something so condemning, professionally condemning.
"Public transit here is considered to be relatively safe." Xiao Yang said, resting his chin on his hand as he looked at the scenery outside the window, then he calmly added, "from 2001 to now, the terrorist attacks here are relatively low compared to other places in the world."

Two minutes later, the car parked arrived in front of 'Rich Hometown'. They walked into the restaurant and very quickly the waiter arranged a table for them. However, after walking a few steps, Qiao Yin noticed the people at the table near the window --- her ex-boyfriend, Zheng ZiHao was sitting there.

Xiao Yang's Xiao is 肖 while Xiao Qiao used 小, the same 小 was used for Xiao Lu in a previous chapter. 小 means little, while 肖 is a proper surname.
