Hilarious Pampered Consort 141 - Dark & Windy Night, Unlucky Man 2

Qu Tan'er had no interest in figuring out the truth.

Without thinking, she turned her head and glanced at the unconscious Mo Liancheng behind her.

With just one look, she couldn't help but be lost in thought...

In the dim candlelight, Mo Liancheng's features seemed like the most exquisite piece of art in the world.

In the haze, it was so beautiful that one wouldn't want to look away for a moment.

"Darn handsome guy, if you were born in the 21st century, you'd definitely be a sensation, how about when I'm going back, I kidnap you? Then I'll package you into a star, then I won't have to worry for the rest of my life, hehe... can just count money, how great." Qu Tan'er had a longing expression, imagining the joy of counting money. Unfortunately...

Imagination was just imagination, unlikely to become reality.

She couldn't go back herself, so how could she possibly bring a living person back?

Then...

Eventually, the sky began to brighten!

Qu Tan'er had a sleepless night! She deeply realized—Mo Liancheng was indeed not an ordinary troublemaker. He just suffered a minor sword injury, yet he managed to develop a high fever, making her have to occasionally use alcohol to wipe his body...

Knock, knock!

"Master, are you there?" Outside the door, Yu Hao urgently called in a soft voice.

Creak!

Qu Tan'er, who was sitting on a chair and was just dozing off to nap, was suddenly awakened by this sound. Her first reaction was to turn her head and look at the person on the bed, then turn back to scan the area near the door.

Qu Tan'er opened the door and stuck her head out. "Yes, come in."

When Yu Hao saw Qu Tan'er coming out from inside, he seemed visibly stunned. Still, he didn't say anything and quickly entered the room. From Yu Hao's slightly wrinkled clothes and dusty appearance, it seemed like he had just returned. He took out a bottle from his body, opened it, and placed it near Mo Liancheng's nose for a moment.

Qu Tan'er was a bit stunned and asked, "What are you doing?"

"The master was drugged." Yu Hao replied.

"..." No wonder.

Qu Tan'er finally understood why Mo Liancheng had let her fiddle around all night without waking up. With this superficial sword injury, it was impossible for him to remain unconscious for so long.

Shortly after, Mo Liancheng slowly woke up. When he saw Qu Tan'er, his eyes also revealed surprise.

"Master, I just brought back the antidote. It was the princess... It seems like the princess saved you," Yu Hao explained after scanning the situation inside the room.

"You saved me?" Mo Liancheng sat up and leaned against the bedpost, staring at Qu Tan'er.

Qu Tan'er raised her eyebrows slightly, laughed, and tiredly said, "Yes, otherwise, who do you think was taking care of you last night? If you're okay now, I'll go back and rest. I'm really tired..."

"Thank you, Princess," Yu Hao said with a slight bow.

"No need, if it were someone else, I might have saved them too..." Qu Tan'er casually said. However, she couldn't be sure if she would really save someone else.

"Oh, is that so?" Mo Liancheng indifferently said, but there was a slight flicker in his deep eyes.

"Well, probably."

"Did you undress me?"

"Yes." Huh? Did this guy want her to take responsibility?

"Did you apply medicine to my injuries?"

"Yes." He... wasn't planning a murder, right? Otherwise, why ask so clearly?

"What did you see last night?"

"I didn't see anything. Really, I promise. I won't tell anyone about last night. My mouth is tightly sealed, you can rest assured. After all, I saved you, and you wouldn't want to do anything harmful, right?" Qu Tan'er's mouth twitched, genuinely suspecting his motives for asking these questions.
