"Wait a moment, I really have something to say. I've helped you change clothes and assisted you in washing your face. You should at least listen to what I have to say." There should be a limit to playing with people, right? Qu Tan'er angrily rushed forward, extended her small hand, and pressed it against the door, making it impossible for him to open it.
"Do you have something to say?" Mo Liancheng remained calm, staring at her indifferently.
"Yes, it's not much. Just a small matter, and you-"
"Since it's a small matter, there's no need to rush at this moment."
"Wait, I haven't finished talking." Qu Tan'er blocked his way again, firmly preventing Mo Liancheng from taking a step outside the door.
"This prince never repeats his words."
"And I also never repeat my words."
Mo Liancheng stared at her for a moment, then very seriously, just when she thought he was going to use his identity as a prince to suppress her, his tone suddenly changed. He leisurely said, "Then you don't have to speak."
"..." Qu Tan'er suddenly felt a vein burst, frustrated.
How could there be such a annoying man in the world? Could he really infuriate people to the point of spitting blood without saying a word? And to make matters worse, she couldn't do anything about it.
After a while, Mo Liancheng stood with his hands behind his back, revealing a dignified posture. "Do you know you're blocking this prince's way?"
"I don't know." She deliberately answered, what can he do?
"Move aside."
Mo Liancheng raised an eyebrow, glanced at her, then gestured to a spot nearby, indicating that she should figure it out for herself. Such an expression seemed like a certain woman had used it before.
"Resolve my matter, and I'll move."
"Move aside."
Mo Liancheng chuckled, extended the index finger of his left hand, placed it lightly on Qu Tan'er's shoulder, and then exerted a slight force. After that...
"Ah!" Qu Tan'er's body staggered, and she slanted to the side. When she regained her senses, Mo Liancheng had already opened the door and walked out.
He...he...he just left like that?
Then, what did that make her?
How dare he push her? The force was a bit strange... Was this the legendary ancient inner strength?! She knew that this annoying man's frail appearance was just an act! He was no less skilled than her.
"Mo Liancheng, stop. I haven't finished what I was saying."
"Princess, please wait. Master doesn't like to be bothered," Yu Hao blocked her way again.
"My master also doesn't like being blocked." Jing Xin made the same move, directly blocking Yu Hao, preventing him from getting any closer.
"You—"
"What 'you'? If you have the ability, come over. If you dare to come, you have to take responsibility. As a woman, whether I marry someone else or marry you, it's the same." Jing Xin rattled off a series of words, truly inheriting Qu Tan'er's style. Moreover, it hit the bull's eye.
Yu Hao's forehead had black lines emerging. He couldn't get angry, and he couldn't insult her.
Indeed, it was unwise to offend women...
Qu Tan'er glanced at them, had no time to pay attention, and went straight to catch up with Mo Liancheng.
"You, wait, I have something to say."
"This prince is busy."
"It won't take much of your time."
"You've already delayed this prince's time."
"Mo Liancheng!" Qu Tan'er took a deep breath, extended her arm to block Mo Liancheng's path. "You're just going to paint. A little delay won't make the painting grow legs and run away."
MiraiSaesang's Notes: This is definitely better than the drama, the FL in the drama was funny but a bit of an airhead, her conversations and backtalk to him almost always felt like a child throwing a tantrum (probably because she always seemed to be hopping as she spoke lol), I love the FL here, it really feels like she's matching his tempo when she ....and ML here is another level of "shameless and proud of it" and Jing Xin learning all the wrong, but effective, tricks ~😂
